people broke into our room and used the bathroom. We have no idea how they did it, we locked the door. They left us a bottle of coke though. Oslo was great for us. We had tons of weird experiences like that. location is alright, the east side of oslo is shady/cheaper. Go to the west side during the day.

- The luggage storage was a mess (not enough shelfes, food storaged there), not video monitored that everybody can "change" luggages. Lockers in only for fee luggage storages available - In the room one of our two beds were broken!

Oslo is expensive as everyone warned me, but this hostel is worth the money and helps to make visiting the citie less bank rupting...

We stayed in both dorms and a private room, both really good rooms; own bathroom and kitchen area. You can walk to almost everywhere in Oslo from the hostel, the street into town is quite poor (dirty, beggars) but perfectly safe as very busy.

Great place for waht it is, staff very helpful, lobby a great place to meet people. If you just need a place to sleep, I recommend the Anker Hostel.
