The best place to stay in Chiang Mai, mostly because of the staff. There are extremely helpful and kind. Also, the rooms are really pretty. For the location, the are a lot of restaurant no more than 5 minutes by walk. Everywhere we went in the city was walking distance from the guesthouse.

I've been travelling in Asia for 8 months. The best, most laid-back, friendly, clean, kind, attentioned and respectful place I've stayed at so far. A big 10 on 10!

A lovely hostel run by lovely people, very comfortable and offering a range of (very reasonably priced) treks and other facilities such as motorbike and car hire. reasonably well placed outside of chiang mai itself, but not too far to walk in, and not too far from the night market.

We had a great experience at the Parami Guesthouse. Roger and Aree were great help and had excellent advice for our time spent in Chiang Mai. I would definitely recommend this place.

Parami was fine, but we had the cheapest room in the joint and were unable to move rooms for our 4 nite stay. Consequently, I would not recommend room 5 despite the price.(Exceptionally bad bed, no privacy, detached shower and sink in one room with toilet in another and both outside[wierd].) Breakfast was good and we met several very nice people which made up for everything I hated about the our room. Staff was fine and they clean the room whenever you ask. For a bit more, I am sure there are
