Even by Tokyo standards the rooms are small.

A little difficult to find and a bit out of the way. you feel a little like you're in a sardine tin...

For what you are paying the place is fine but the kitchen is seriously lacking and there is not much room to move...anywhere. I would recommend looking at the K's House chain of backpackers before Khaosan.

Very tiny rooms, and kind of noisy, even on a Tues/Wed night, due to paper thin walls. You'd struggle to fit more than 1 suitcase in your room. But you get what you pay for, and it met our purpose of a cheap place to sleep.

Very underwhelming. The pillows were very hard and the faucet in the bathroom hardly worked. The showers had a very nice spray to them but you have to press a thing every thirty seconds or the shower turns off (they don't assume we're capable of turning off a shower??). Depends what you're looking for. The location is either amazing (if you want to be close to Asakusa) or horrible (if you want to be close to near bars/restaurants, considering the subway stops at midnight).
