Our stay at this hostel was great. Even though it was some way outside carcassonne the proprieter is very helpful in giving advice on getting around. George, the dog, was a great member of staff that enlightened our stay. The kitchen facilities were better than in any other hostel we stayed in Europe, with herbs and spices at our desposal, plus filter coffee! Also check out her website about volunteering for free accommodation.

Something different, because it is a nice farmhouse in a small village. When you like animals like cats and dogs stay here!

remember its 10km away from Carsassonne, so getting there can be difficult if you dont email the owner for instructions. the town its in is so cute and the setup is really cool. just not a lot to do other then take relaxing walks.

This was our last stop on a 5 day trip. The place was incredibly relaxing and just what we needed. We rented bikes and rode around for a bit. I would recommend this to anyone needing a place to stay in the south of france.
