The room wasn't cleaned when we arrived (condoms on the floor, dirty sheets, mould in the shower and a nice smell of piss) and the condition of the place was over all not good at all. We will not stay there again!

If you're looking for a hostel with filthy rooms, patronising staff and a pool that hasn't been cleaned since James Cook passed by then this place is for you. Bed linen isn't included in the price, but I wasn't charged for the bed bugs so I guess I can't really complain

The first room I was put into looked like the floor had never seen a vacuum and there was a used condom on the floor in the bathroom. I wasn't allowed to leave and get my money back so they moved me into another room that was WAY cleaner and didn't have disgusting carpet. I probably wouldn't stay at this hostel again. Their internet was also down for at least 4 days.

Hi, Koala Beach Resort Airlie Beach is a lovely place to stay. Friendly and helpfull staff, great location, you can rest out or party on without anyone bothering you. Love the place. pete sleeman
