I was surprised by how few people were there in August. The signs in the place need to be reworded, they were a bit direct.

Bathroom facilities clean - hot shower was nice! You need to catch a bus from the interchange at portsmouth to get to this hostel, and will need to bus it to get to ferry stop for visits to isle of wight. Supermarket within walking distance and a good kitchen setup
