the beds are comfortable, amenities spotless. the owner very hospitable and took us to a beautiful fesitval in the mountains, a very memorable time.

This part of Romania is a "must see" if you really want to see rural Romania that has not changed in the past 100 years. As the only hostel in the area Rob has a great opportunity to encourage people to visit the area. Completing the building of the self catering kitchen will make this a top class hostel.

Probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in! The family is so friendly and offer traditional meals, tours etc. The hostel is slap-bang in the middle of the town, but set back from the road so all you hear are the birds... Fabulous three days.
