Perhaps investing in a dishwasher in the kitchen. Also, when we walked back in, flashing our card was never checked and anyone could have come in behind us.

We enjoyed the stay. Thought it was in a great location. Not that many social activities. We were also pretty much the youngest people there. It was a nice quiet hostel though.

Thanks for a great vacation. Last June while in SD I made the mistake of staying at another local hostel...big mistake. They over charged me, were extremely rude about it, and I was not the only traveler who had the same experience with them. Your staff is gracious and easy to do business with. Thanks again! I won't make the mistake of staying elsewhere again. Victoria

The best of the hostel is the location, just in the middle of the Gaslamp Quarter, which is a very safe area, and the staff was great, trying to help you all the time.
