Loved this place! Right in the middle of the mountains, just down the road there's a view nothing short of spectacular. Walks start from the front door! The manager was exceptionally helpful with my family research by making an appointment for me with a local historian, thus putting me right on track. The hostel is clean, comfortable and homely and, what's more, it's a community project. You'll feel blessed if you have the chance to stay here - I did.

Wouldn\'t recommend this place to anyone. On arrival we were charged double (£4) for sheets because there were two of us (in a double room!). The bathroom smelled of pee and in the evening, heating came on for about 20-30 all over the place but stopped again before radiators became warm never mind hot. We had been told there was plenty of hot water for showers etc but there was NONE and to cap it all, the person responisble for the whole place had gone off \'to a meeting\' and never returned, leaving the place (in an isolated village) OPEN ALL NIGHT to whoever might want to come! Before she went she had come to us and asked us to give paperwork to arriving guests who therefore arrived to no heating and no reception whatsoever. Seriously scary place. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
