Not really a nice place to stay, no blankets, most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in (REALLY cheap/springs in back etc), and they charged me a 50% cancellation fee because they received my email 30 minutes too late! Not in the spirit of hostelling. Note also, that after you checkout, its 1000yen to use internet etc. :( Find another place.

Staff were incredibly friendly and spoke English too. They gave us a few treats to take home as well! Internet, bath is fine but the 2nd floor does stink a bit of something... Overall well recommended.
