This was by far the best hostel we stayed at in New Zealand - it was unfortunate that we were not able to stay longer. A staff member stayed until quite late to wait for us to arrive (around 11:30PM) and helped us with our luggage and the heating in our room. It was extremely clean and secure and was located right next to the beach but still relatively close to Wellington CBD.
