Wonderful stay. Friendly staff, clean place, and even the people that stayed their were cool. The staff had something planned for New Year's for people if no one there had plans (I did have plans so I cannot comment on how it went). Only bad I can mention is the bed I slept in for the first two nights was not very flat and ached my back after the second day (but I switched beds afterwords). And there was only one elevator in the building to get you to the 7th floor and when I was there t

This is by no means a fancy hostel. But the staff does everything they can to make it enjoyable. They have laundry service, Internet, and breakfast. It's on the 7th floor of Maroof Tower in a very convenient location. About three blocks from Egyptian Museum, next to a bank, and very close to the metro. I would recommend.

Its simple, clean and the atmosphere is great. This hostel is just what you need in Cairo to start your holiday in Egypt. Peter and his team are the best. They know and lot and are willing to share any information you need. If you are going explore the area arround Cairo (Giza and such) by car with a private driver, ask them for a guy called "Sam". We spend 3 weeks in Egypt and we met a lot of private drivers but he was the best!:) Hilda and Matthijs

This is a great little hostel with really friendly helpful staff and a good atmosphere- I met lots of nice people there. The owners Hassan, Peter, and Shehab work really hard to make the place like a second home and make sure you're having fun! The location is right downtown near the museum. Just two bits of advice- ask for the hostel to arrange a pickup at the airport because my taxi driver had a really hard time finding the place, and also it can be noisy at night but earplugs work wonders!
