Rick and the staff were very nice and accomodating. The hostel is a stone´s throw from the ocean in a nice small town. No locks on the bedroom doors but the front door requires a code after certain hour. The TV room converted into a bedroom the night we stayed there but we just hung out in the kitchen area. Not really a party hostel but still a really great time!

We had a great time in Portstewart and the location of the hostel made it possible to enjoy the promenade every time we went into town or went back to the hostel. It's a little far from the strand but otherwise absolutely lovely. Also, the showers are huge and the double beds really are big enough for two people. Very very comfortable hostel, also the free tea and coffee are a lovely bonus.
