Getting to the hostel involves taking a train to Penrith then a bus or taxi to Shap but once you arrive you will very much enjoy the location. It is in the heart of the Lake District and is absolutely beautiful. The town is really quiet and peaceful, our hosts were very nice and accommodating.

A great hotel/hostel in the quiet town of Shap. The place has lots of character in the quaint village. The beds are very comfortable!
