The hostel is in a historic building, an old life-saving facility - which is in itself pretty cool, and it's architecturally interesting. It faces a path that leads to the beach and the island bus takes off nearby. Friendly people, great price!

Kitchen needs to be re-done; need many more smaller scale utensils suitable for individuals as opposed to groups and the massive commercial stove is clumsy and difficult to operate - better to have two smaller stoves in separate parts of the kitchen

I really liked the area. There didn't really seem to be any security, but there also didn't seem to be a need for security. There were a surprising number of older people at this hostel. The location was directly across from the beach--nice place to go and sit in the evening. I heard rumors of a bonfire on the beach but was not invited to the event. The place seemed very clean. Be prepared to walk a lot, buy a shuttle pass, and use the occasional taxi. I fell in love with the place and di
