This is an amazing hostel - clean, the location seems like it's a bit off, but it's not at all. It's a great value and I wish I had known about it before I booked a hotel in Cusco - I would have stayed here instead!!!!

We stayed here based on a friends recommendation and it was wonderful! The hostel overlooks the plaza and has a lot of character. The staff was very accomodating. It felt like you were staying with a family. Highly recommend it - not sure why you´d stay in a hotel when this is an option. only negative is there are a lot of stairs to get there but even so it is still 5 minutes from the plaza. After a night out you can take a cab if you don´t feel like climbing for $1. Loved this place!

This was the second time I stayed at Piccola Locanda. The place is very colorful, and the staff respond quickly and cheerfully to any needs you may have. They also have an excellent free breakfast.
