I'd say for typical dirty run down hostels this place was on the low end. Security Locker was just putting your stuff behind the clerks desk which was occasionally unoccupied. The rooms stunk a bit and there was only 1 bathroom per dorm area. But the price makes it worth it if you can't afford much.

Windroad may not be the most attractive hostel you will ever go to, but it has a lot of personality. Also, its very homely. Many of the people who stay there are returnees. The only complaints would be that the rooms are small and you don:t have much privacy in the dorms, but with the cheap price, you cant really complain about things like that. Overall, Windroad is a pretty cool place.

I injured my foot and the staff was AMAZING! They stayed with me all night at the hospital and helped with translations and everything. Truly wonderful and I can't say enough good things about the staff.
