Our brand-new designer youth hostel is one of the best in Amsterdam centre!!
Hostel Van Gogh is situated in the best spot in Amsterdam city centre, the most vibrant centre for art, fashion and culture with three major world famous museum just at your doorstep: Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum and the Stedelijk Art Museum.
Hostel Van Gogh combines arty hip looks, quality facilities and carefully-designed rooms, aimed at facilitating young travellers all over the world with little demand over the comfort and quality. Free Wi-Fi in all the house. The entire house is fully centrally air-conditioned and all rooms have LCD television and a modern bathroom equipped with hairdryer.
From the hostel, you can reach the numerous bars, shops, clubs and other sights of the city very easily. If you like exciting nightlife, the entertainment zone Leidseplein is just five minutes' walking distance, where the famous clubs 'Paradiso', 'Melkweg', 'Jimmy Woo', 'Little Buddha' or the recently renovated theatre 'DeLaMar' can be found.
There is a tram stop in front of the hostel, providing easy access to the rest of the city by trams 2 and 5, which also lead you to Amsterdam Centraal Station within 10 minutes.
Our hostel features include free bed linen and towel, free shampoo and shower gel, free luggage storage, a lift, a key-card lock system to ensure your safety and security and an all-you-can-eat luxury continental breakfast buffet for only €5.
Reception is open 24hrs for check-in and check-out, with no curfew. We also have tickets for tours, musicals and more.
Please note that there is an age restriction in place for the mixed dorms of 18 to 40 years of age.

For groups of 2 or more, we can't ensure that everyone will be in the same room if you book a dorm, although we'll try our very best. For bookings of less than 12 people, there is a 48hr cancellation policy. Late cancellations and no-shows shall be charged the equivalent of the first night's accommodation. We do credit card preauthorisation two days before arrival; if the credit card you submitted when you made the booking fails authorisation, we reserve the right the decline the booking.

Great experience! MY room was more like a hotel than a hostel, with two twin beds pushed together (I'd paid for a single room) and a very large bathroom with a HUGE shower. The bathroom was impeccably clean - not even a hint of mildew in the corners. I was on the ground floor and worried that noise from the street would bother me, but since it's down a side road, it wasn't an issue. Great atmosphere, the five-euro breakfast is totally worth it.
