Dollardstown House, our historic country house B&B and family home offers a place to really unwind and get away from it all – any time of year. Whether you are traveling in a group, with a friend, as a couple or in your own company, you will find a warm and homely welcome awaits you with tea / coffee and home-baking. We invite you to leave your worries behind and relax by our open fires.
Many original features have been preserved around the house giving the rooms a unique character. The back of the house dates from the 16hundreds making it Elizabethan, the front of the house was added on around 1720 and so dates from the early Georgian period.
Dollardstown House offers 3 en-suite guest rooms and 2 adjoining rooms sharing one bathroom, making it ideal for a family or a group of friends.
In line with the character of the house we have made one television available in our drawing room but you won’t find televisions in the bedrooms.
Dollardstown House is surrounded by 20 acres of gardens and parkland, a haven of peace and quiet, yet so close to Dublin. Garden enthusiasts will find over 20 beautiful gardens to be visited all within 1 hours drive from Dollardstown.
Wake up to the smell of home-baked bread and freshly ground coffee. Irish or extensive Continental breakfast is served by an open fire and boosts locally sourced products.
Want to keep in touch with the home-front? We have free WiFi available for all our guests.
Guests are welcome to relax in our dining room outside mealtimes too. Why not spend some quality time chatting? And when is the last time you read a good book by the fire?
