About Charoendee Boutique Hostel .
A two-storey house built with teak wood and decorated with Thai style. The house was built in early 19 century. Charoendee became a hotel in 1969 and it is one of the oldest hotel in Bangkok. As Khao san Road has developed over the years to become a very popular destination for Backpackers, Charoendee also had been changed to a hostel.

Charoendee is a boutique hostel at the heart of Khao san Road. A budget accommodation offers a clean, friendly and vibrant place to stay at a very reasonable price. We also prepare fresh breakfasts every morning. We offer all amenities such as wireless internet, common room, relaxed outdoor terrace and restaurant
Rooms �.
We've all kind of rooms to suite your needs. Single, double, twin and triple rooms which have air conditioning or ceiling fan and every room have big window. The bathrooms for guests are all extremely clean and all bed linen is provided free of charge.

- Free luggage storage rooms until 5pm
-Electronic safe available in our office.
***IMPORTANCE**
*Your arrival time mean a time that your arrive at the hostel but the check-in time is 13:00 therefore if you show up 7 in the moring you still have to wait unitll 13:00 BUT if the room ready before 13:00 we will glad to check you in ASAP.
* We will hold your room untill the arrival time that you given to us (plus 6 hr. more grace period). Your bed might be released if you show up later than your arrival that you inform us. If you have a delay flight or couldn't make it on time.Feel free to contact us via e-mail(charoendeehotel@gmail.com) or call (+66) 084-343-7950

* Deposit 10% for Hostelworld is Non-Refundable
* The entrance will be close 2AM after that you have to ring a door bell and will let you in.

It was ok for two nights but the shared bathroom was really not as nice. Besides that, nice staff, nice place, but noisy although in a yard. But thats just Khaosan... :P Maria, from Austria ~ 14th Jun 2013

Excellent location but extremely midleading."Air conditioning" is checked for this location as if it exists - it does not!There are two uninstalled air conditioners which sit in a hallway.As best I can determine all rooms have fans and no room has an air conditioner (see hostel's fine print - supposedly room can have air conditioner "or" fan - trust me they all have fans).And at 95-100F it can be moderately miserable.Music club adjacent rocks 4 pm to 4 am at 90-120 DB in your room.
