Who are we? We’re Berlin’s most central hostel!
We’re located in downtown Berlin. From here you can walk to all of the city’s major sightseeing spots. No public transport is needed. And our neighbourhood, Berlin Mitte, is well known for its diverse culture and nightlife!
Our modern hostel is set in a heritage buidling dating back to 1894.
The spacious rooms feature large windows, oak parquet and high ceilings. We have rooms for up to eight people, some with shared bathrooms and some ensuite. The entire hostel is 100% non-smoking and rooms are cleaned daily.
We have an Internet café with free wifi in the public area as well as a laundry service (one load washed and dried €5).
Linen is not included in the rates and but is mandatory and costs an additional €2.50; it is free if you have an ISIC card.
We serve homemade cakes and real good organic coffee or tea from only €1.20. Our huge breakfast buffet features loads of organic stuff for only €4.80.
Our onsite bar is open 23hrs a day and features €2 draught beer (€1.50 at Happy Hour). We’ve also got 0.33L bottles of Becks for €2.50 and 0.5L bottles of organic beer for just €2.80!
You can relax in our sunny street cafe or our beautiful courtyard with trees and deckchairs. In winter we show movies or have live music for entertainment.
No matter if you arrive to our city via the airports or train station, there’s a direct public transport link to our hostel.
Citystay is the perfect place for all backpackers, solo travellers and families.

Our hostel is located in a historic building with high ceilings, oak floors and modern facilities. It also has its own restaurant, cafe and a beautiful courtyard with trees and deckchairs. During winter we show movies or arrange live music.
If you have breakfast with us you should taste the natural honey of our own bees. Yes, we bee-keep - don't be afraid, though, they're not in our courtyard!
Our resident bar is also open 23 hours a day and serves great-value drinks.

we suggest to include breakfast in your price. we had to line up every morning now.concerning sheets and towels: is it really neccessaiy to to pay a fee before? it is not practical and we don't see the use of the 2 plastic coinsif you have to handover the towels at the reception (and not the sheets?). But we liked the place and had a good time. We are coming back over 10 years (after the construction works and building rage) and in June instead of March with the Siberian wheater last days!
