In the creation of BUTTERFLY HOSTEL we used the qualities of the best hostels&apartments. We are not a dormitory, but provide private rooms where you can feel yourself at home and you can really see how it is to live in Budapest! If you choose us, you'll get:

Our hostel does not contain dorms but instead caters to groups, couples and families travelling together. We're on the first floor of a retro-style, authentic and typical residential building in downtown Pest.
We have four separate rooms which share two bathrooms between them, as well as an extra WC. They also share a fully-equipped kitchen with a dining table for eight people. The common room has a TV, comfy couches, free Wi-Fi and a computer with internet. There's free linen, free towels, free hairdryer and iron, free tea and coffee, and free use of our washing machine and drying facilities. If you have a bike you're welcome to park it safely in the courtyard of the house.
Butterfly Hostel has a great city centre location. We're near Andrassy utca as well as both Oktogon and Vörösmarty metro stations, meaning you can quickly and easily explore the whole city from here, any time of day or night.
Our check-out time is flexible and you can leave your luggage in our hostel afterwards!
Don't miss our Butterfly Days - we have traditional Hungarian food with wine and pálinka-tasting on the first Wednesday of every month!
