Nimmos Hostel is situated in Galway City - the capital of the West of Ireland. Galway City is a beautiful and vibrant city. The city centre is culturally rich with many things to see and do, Lynch's Castle, St Nicholas' Church and the Spanish Arch are just a few.
Galway is not only a city with lots of tourism, it is also a great place for night-life and Nimmos Hostel is ideally located for this. Close by there are lots of great pubs, bars, discos and restaurants.
Nimmos Hostel is within a five-minute walk from the train and bus station. All rooms are dorms - making the hostel a great place to meet new people. The hostel has a common room with cable TV, a large kitchen and dining room.
Please note guests should provide picture I.D. on arrival.
Group bookings may be charged a refundable security deposit.
I would like to thank all our customers for the valued feedback. we can confirm we at nimmos will continue to take your advice on board. new security locks are being installed from 12/7/12 we have also provided the option of advanced booking for a female or male only dorm instead of requesting it on arrival. As requested curtains with a thicker lineing have been fitted to the rooms in question so you can enjoy a late sleep and our late check out without the sun disturbing your sleep

Comments mainly intended towards premises & furniture. Fire Escape Safety concerns on top floor-Any plan? All wooden beds in dangerous condition & uncomfortable. Windows need dark curtains & should be double-glazed as loud noise outside. Room was dirty-not vacuumed in 3days. I\'d to remove an overflowing rubbish bin from my dorm as it was there very long time. The dorm bedrooms were never locked and no keys given. Kitchen+Dining Room shabby.Friendly staff & guests deserve safe modern clean hoste Peter, from Ireland ~ 19th Sep 2012
