In line with our motto of simple yet appealing to budget travelers, Xayana guesthouse comes fully equipped with beds, hot shower and fans. The Xayana X-cube on the other hand strives to appeal to the hip and adventurous traveler, offering cabin rooms with shared bathrooms and toilets. In short, dorm styled rooms with more privacy to oneself.
Each dormitory room comes with private showers and toilets. Fans and even air conditioning! Now that's a bargain!

We are located just next to the post office and less than 3 minutes away from the night market. No more long walks, no more excess expenditure on tuk tuks just to get to the town.
Movie Night:
Grab a beer and join us every night as we screen the latest films in the open area.
Shuttle:
Coming by boat? drop us a mail on your time of arrival and we will pick you up from the pier, free of charge, on the house! (valid for 4 pax bookings and above)
Payment upon check-in. Payment by credit card will be subjected to 4% service charge. Good and cheap Western, Chinese and Lao food at BLVD Restaurant, right in front of the guesthouse. Movie screening by the restaurant at certain nights. Please feel free to ask the restaurant staff. Free WIFI for everyone! Security Guard Patrol from 10pm to 6am for every night..

The problems with this hostel are well known, the dorms are not secure, there are no lockers and the bathrooms smell. Furthermore the hostel charges for towels, storage of bags for over 3 hours and offers an expensive laundry service. However that said, as one of the few places in Lurang Prabang that offers dorm beds, it is great value for the single traveller. Judy, from England ~ 9th Feb 2013

Hostel tries to rip you off when you arrive by saying they don't receive a deposit from hostels.com. You can talk to them until your blue in the face and they are unhelpful + won't take the money off your bill. Cheaper to pay when you get there. Dorm was huge - no keys to get in was a pain as you had to ask to be let in the room when you come home late from the bar. The dorm was big enough for lockers - but there was nothing!!
