Hostel Meeting Point in Madryt, Hiszpania

Hostel Meeting Point, opened for New Year´s Eve 2011, is a modern hostel centrally located, in a quiet area, surrounded by gardens, on a street with little traffic, facing the Cathedral of La Almudena and the Royal Palace, 300 m. from the Plaza Mayor and St. Michael´s Market and 450 m. from Puerta del Sol square.

The nearest Metro stations are Ópera, 250 m. and Sol, 450 m. Several bus lines, including the Tourist Bus line, have their stop 100 m from the hostel.

Major city attractions such as the Retiro Park, the museums of El Prado, Reina Sofía and Thyssen-Bornemisza, the Puerta de Alcalá or Cibeles Square, are within 20 minutes walk.

Around the hostel there are many bars where you can drink and eat tapas and nightclubs like Joy Eslava and palacio Gaviria, which are 300 m., or La Riviera and the famous Kapital, at 15 minutes walk

La Latina and Las Letras-Huertas neighborhoods, famous for its atmosphere by day and night and the Rastro, flea market held on Sundays and bank holidays, are within 10 minutes walking.
As for shopping, in a few minutes walk you get to Sol and surrounding areas, the Gran Vía, Fuencarral or Hortaleza streets, where you will find international brands such Zara and HM or other alternative fashion shops.

Hostel Meeting Point has most of their rooms overlooking the garden, the Cathedral of La Almudena and the Royal Palace, showing private double rooms with or without bathroom and shared rooms for 3, 4, 6, 8 or 10 people, some with private bathroom, all with air conditioning, heating and individual lockers.
We also have 24-hour reception, separated bathrooms for men and women, two living rooms, kitchen, where breakfast is served, apart from being used by our customers, laundry and motorbike rental service.

Regarding sports and various events, we are located 10 minutes by subway from the Casa de Campo and the Vicente Calderon stadium, home of the football club Atlético de Madrid, 10 minutes´drive from the Caja Mágica, home of the Madrid Open Tennis among other events, a 10 minute walk from an indoor pool and a 30 minute subway ride from Santiago Bernabeu stadium, home of the Real Madrid football club.
