The Nairobi Youth Hostel is situated just 3km south-west of the city centre in a friendly ,clean homely and quiet Environment our staff are Amazing cheerful, informative, friendly and willing to help. Situated along the Ralph Bunche Road between the former Kenya school of Law and the
Nairobi hospital directly opposite the Upper Hill Medical Centre.
It is only 20 minutes walk to the city centre.
The Hostel is a perfect place to be if you want to meet travelers from all corners of the Globe in a relaxed, stress free, quiet, fun and friendly environment., the hostel makes a good base for visiting Nairobi National Wildlife Park, the National Karen Blixen, Giraffe Centre, Railway museums, the open air Maasai Market among other tourist attractions in Nairobi. It has a capacity for 96 beds The hostel offers accommodation in large dorms with 16 beds sharing separate for ladies and men, small rooms with 3 or 4 beds, bunk rooms with 2 beds or self contained one bedroom fully furnished apartments.
other facilities include Lounge facilities ideal for holding meetings, gatherings, Set up with intention of helping to promote social welfare, a sun roof, garden, patio, laundry and meals.
Conveniently located in the city, whilst being located in a very secure residential area. Kenya Youth Hostel Association is in partnership with the Kenya Voluntary and Community Development Project and are calling for volunteers plus donors across the globe to visit Kenya and help in voluntary work ,to serve the less fortunate people in our societies especially the youth who are vulnerable to misuse, the need to have our youth engaged in activities that will improve the quality of their lives and not engage in criminal activities, we have peace building missions with youth and hope to have a training programme for them on peace issues we are asking all people of good will to support our initiatives.
