Hosteria Rose Cottage is located three kilometers outside Otavalo on the road to the beautiful Mojanda Lakes, and has the finest views in the area.
From our properties you have wonderful views of the volcanoes of Imbabura, Cotacachi, Cayembe and Fuya Fuya, and it is a perfect place to relax and read in a hammock, for walks, horsesriding and climbing and for use as a base for visiting Otavalo and the surrounding area. We also have our own tennis court, ping pong and friendly animals! To get to Otavalo it takes about 50 minutes walking, or a $3 taxi ride. On Saturday mornings we offer free transportation after breakfast to all guests direct to the famous market.
We have seven separate and attractive houses for guests, all well kept and attractively priced to suit differing customer requirements. All our prices include complimentary continental breakfast with fresh Ecuadorian coffee. 12% Value Added Tax is added to all our prices in accordance with Ecuadorian regulations.
Free wifi is available to all guests, and a computer for guest use is available free of charge in our large library.
In our Casa Imbabura we offer our guests dormitory accommodation for up to 8 people , as well as a private double room and a single, each with shared bathroom. The house has its own TV/lounge and a small kitchen for simple self catering at an extra cost of $1 per person per night.
In our pleasant large houses Casa Cotacachi and Casa Cotopaxi we offer single, double and triple rooms. Some of our doubles have their own private bathroom, and the others have shared bathroom .
In our Cabana Cayembe we offer an entire romantic little cabin with bathroom for 2-3 persons with exceptional views, whilst in our Casa Chimborazo we offer a complete comfortable family house with fireplace, sitting room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and bathrooms to sleep up to 6 people, with 2 balconies from which to enjoy the views.
In our luxury independent Chalet Rose Cottage we have a four poster bed,fireplace and private shower room, again with gorgeous views. This house for 2 has its own balcony.
Finally we offer a new 2 roomed apartment in our new house, Fuya Fuya which comes with living room with fireplace, four poster bed, easy chairs, TV and private bathroom.This apartment for 2 also has its own balcony with hammocks right outside the front door where you can relax and enjoy the view.
We have our own lovely gardens, tennis court, ping pong and a large DVD collection in our two TV rooms as well as books and board games. We also have a large library/meeting room which will seat up to 25 people. We can make arrangements for special occasions and groups to have exclusive use of facilities.
Cancellation policy 3 days - Please cancel at least 3 days in advance otherwise you will be charged for the first night

Very charming cottages and helpful owner family location little outside, but therefore perfect place to enjoy nature! I really enjoyed homemade food! good collection of DVDs and books including free WIFI. Thanks for the nice time! Yves, from Switzerland ~ 24th Jul 2012
