The AWA Seattle Hostel, is 1 of 4 AWA properties in Seattle and is our most affordable, and most fun. With it's Top Quality bar just downstairs, with a range of activities going on every night, and being in the College District of Seattle, if you want, fun, you've come to the right place.
Built in 1909 during the Alaska- Yukon exposition, The AWA Seattle Hostel offers old world charm, and hospitality, with urban conveniences of Seattle's University District. With Free breakfast in our relaxing common room, where all our travelers meet up and share their stories, and the location of our place couldn't be any closer to all the action. Also, we have a room with free high speed internet access.
With ease of public transportation in Seattle to get you to the sites Seattle has to offer, and we're set in the zone for students, and travelers with budget restaurants, and bars every which direction you look. Not to mention, we have our own bar just downstairs!
Transportation available to and from the Sea Tac airport, and drops you off just two blocks from our Hostel
The online rates are the best we offer, and walk ins will not receive the online rates
There is limited free parking on the street, or a garage just down the street for 8 dollars a day.
9.5 % tax is due upon arrival

My only complaint. Some of the rooms are directly above a greasy restaurant. My room had a continual grease odor that does not go away. John, from USA ~ 7th Nov 2012

While most of the staff were friendly and helpful, some staff members were not particularly pleasant. Not outright rude but definitely had an attitude that made you feel like you were imposing. Overall, I found the College Inn to be a pleasant place to stay, though. The rooms were nice and clean, and I liked the fact that the place is a historical landmark. Sure, there are not as many amenities (such as TVs in the room, or private bathrooms). But I didn't expect, need or miss them. Debra, from USA ~ 18th Sep 2012
