Hidden Garden Youth Hostel is a quiet and relaxing place to stay but close to downtown. we are conveniently located right next to the Pudong Avenue metro station(10 minutes walking), which provides excellent access to navigate the city very easily and also means you can avoid the tourist traps and crowds whilst still relaxing in style.All rooms are clean and comfortable with private bathroom and air-conditioning and high speed free WIFI. We also have helpful staffs that are willing to make your stay in Shanghai happy and meaningful.

Facilities were so bad. Toilet was so uncomfortable. Bed sheets are so humid. I found bugs on floors. I won`t pay this money to go this hostel. Smell`s like socks. Mideum, from South Korea ~ 18th Oct 2012

The staff was really excellent and kind they responded to our emails quickly and then let us check out very late due to a misunderstanding of the checkout time online. The atmosphere was excellent many people were hanging out in the cool lobby area which was had a nice relaxed vibe. There was free drinking water, and there were some really cute dogs around too. There was a bit of mold in our bathroom (we stayed in a private double ensuite) but it was generally quite clean and comfortable. Julianne, from USA ~ 6th Jul 2012
