We are proud to offer stunning sunrises and river views from our rooftop terrace with holy morning mantra chants from the Lord Shiva-temples surrounding the guesthouse. It is also a great place for yoga and meditation. We also have a very comfy living room where you can meet other guest, enjoy alone time while reading a book from our shared library to playing with our four friendly rabbits, which will welcome you on arrival. We have five private rooms with all good services. With a beautiful sunrise and river view, with holy morning mantra chants from the Lord Shiva-temples surrounding the house, the roof-top is also a good place for yoga and meditation. We have also a very nice common area where you easily meet other guests.

Near to the main market, 2 km from Varanasi railway station. Located in Chowk area, the street name is Lalita ghat, near Ganges River. Very near to Golden Temple & Nepali Temple.

BEWARE: -
Please be careful with "local illegal guides" or taxi drivers who get commission from certain hotels for bringing guests there. They will always try to confuse you and insist that they should take you somewhere else. This is because of the commission business, but Suraj Guest House doesn't give any commission to these street guys.

Therefore it is better if you call us on arrival in Varanasi, and we will come and pick you up. Or give us the information of your train/flight, with time, date etc. Then we will know when and where to pick you up. You will only pay the normal transport fee.

It has happened before that taxi drivers "help" tourists to call to us and then are told that the guest house is full. This is pure cheating, they are calling a friend who already knows what to say to you. They don't call us. So beware of this, please.
