Stay at the Mountain view Backpackers, we are a home away from home style hostel. The hostel is close to the supermarket, movie theater, DOC office to name a few.
We offer off street parking and a large garden for you to enjoy.

Our 29 bed backpackers is centrally located in the heart of Wanaka just a few minutes walk to the shores of our magnificent lake.We pride ourselves in offering you a clean hostel and friendly service.
We offer new mattresses, well equipped kitchen, large sunny garden, large DVD library, internet/ wireless internet but to name a few of the benefits you will enjoy while staying at the Mountain view backpackers.
Mountain view backpackers is a sociable hostel that makes an ideal alternative to the larger noisier chains.
We have disabled access (call for more info), central location, new mattresses! Free use of DVD, flat screen, free tea and coffee, internet access, large sunny garden and BBQ (of course) Powerful showers (hot and clean) along with many other comforts to make you stay enjoyable.

Really chilled place with a very friendly owner and extremely comfortable mattresses! Great yard area with deck chairs to sit outside and relax in stunning Wanaka. Perfect size for meeting people. Perhaps the only complaints are that the free internet is not really free (just 20mb's which will last you about 5 websites. Then after that it is very expensive ($5 for a minimal amount of data). But other than that, I would highly recommend this place! Tim, from Australia ~ 3rd Feb 2013
