About A Venice Fish
Top location, a cool place to hang out meet new people and socialise.
The building is a 16th century palace with a beautiful terrace on a main street in Venice.
A Venice Fish is located in the Cannaregio district, the perfect place for shopping, and right in the middle of the city. We are also just a 10 minute walk from the Santa Lucia Train Station, Piazzale Roma, and Rialto Bridge, a minute walking distance to the Venice Casino, and 20 minutes from Piazza San Marco close to all the most important sites of Venice including waterbuses, gondolas, and water taxis.
A Venice Fish has it's own private bridge entrance. The hostel has a really relaxed atmosphere and is very social. Most evening are spent with everyone drinking in the common room listening to music. Sometimes there is a game of ring of fire being played. Staff will be more than happy to advise you on nearby bars, restaurants and attractions.
We require payment in cash upon arrival. Please notice, after check-in, there is no refund under any circumstance. Guests can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 72 hours before arrival. Deposits paid are non refundable.
Your arrival time must be between 9:00 am and 12midnight. We don't have a 24 hour reception, so please notify us if your plans change either by phone or email! Lock out is from 10:00am to 2pm for cleaning.
Check Out: 10:00 am
Check In: 9:00 am to 11pm
Luggage storage service after you have checked out is 5 euros but includes the usage of facilities and lounger area

The municipality of Venice recently approved a law,which impose EVERY hotel,hostel,or b&b in the City to charge every guest an extra TOURIST TASK. THE AMOUNT IS OF 3 EURO PER PERSONS PER DAY.

This place was recommended to me by the first hostel I stayed in in Florence and it was such a welcoming experience. It was a majority of Americans or at least english speakers that were staying there. The staff was nice and informative. I wish there were some maps provided but I ended up just buying one anyways. The location is great and easy to walk to all the major sites to see. The only downside was there were only 2 bathrooms shared by 25 people so there was often a wait in the morning.
