Madrid, quite honestly, stole my heart, and I will return this summer to try and retrieve it, although I quite like it being there. I am 21 years old and spent 4 days in Madrid last summer.

From the Prado, to the Palacio Real, or to the bullfight (in Madrid) and of course the Sangria. The irony here is that I am not really a drinker. People from Madrid eat supper very late, usually around 9 or 10. Late one night after dinner, I had to try the famous Sangria. So I sat there and drank my Sangria all by myself. I had just broken up with my girlfriend of 3 years and drowned my sorrows in the delicious mix of red and white wine. WoW!

Spain is fantastic, and you should really try and do it. There's a lot of hype about Barcelona, and it too is gorgeous, but to truly experience Spain, one must visit Madrid. The people and the places are wonderful. They will see me again soon.
