I stayed in the hostel for two nights and I do not think I would stay there again.
Although the owner is nice and very friendly and the breakfast served is good (but I do not think that would be enough for a guy).
The hostel is very old, walls are dirty. The shower is actually in the toilet, which is absolutely disgasting.

This was a really nice stay but more because of the city itself than the hostel. We slept in a ten bed room up in the addic without doors, lockers or anything but that was okay because I didn't feel once worried that somebody would steel my stuff. There is nothing to do in the hostel - no common room or anything but it doesn't matter since you are outside all the time. Atrani is a really nice village with a small plaza where life happens. I loved staying there and wil defenitily go back.

I had a great time. Atrani is a wonderful town. The hostel is centrally located. The owners are fantastic! Delicious breakfast. Couldn't ask for more.

Fantastic place - hosts very welcoming and helped us sort out parking for the car.
Good fresh breakfasts in the morning - would recommend to everyone as good value on the Amalfi coast!

We loved our stay at the A Scalinatella hostel. The staff was very friendly and it was nice staying in a little village. There are two American Bars a stones throw from the hostel, which are very fun. The scenery is amazing and we were very comfortable in our room. Will definetly come back again!

Excellent. Paid for a 4 bed dorm, ended up with my own room for the first night and only one other roommate for the other 2 nights. And do as everyone else has said and head down to Luigis bar. So cheap, so good, so much fun.

This was a very nice place to stay. The brothers who run the hostel were very friendly and helpful and they serve a fantastic breakfast.
The double room was spacious and clean, the bed was good and the bathroom was nice.
Atrani has a great atmosphere and is only a 10 minute stroll along the coastal road to Amalfi (really just around the bend).
It was a very pleasant stay.
