This was my second stay at this hostel and would highly recommend to anyone!! Owners are very helpful, knowledgeable, and welcoming. And the hostel is a very well maintained. Thanks again for another wonderful stay. Joel, from USA ~ 18th Jan 2010

This was an excellent hostel. That family that owns it is extremely nice and will help out wherever possible! Take the guided trip to Lake Bakal, you won't regret it (snowmobiling, dog sleding, banyas - we went during the winter). Joseph, from Canada ~ 11th Jan 2010

This hostel was a little bit hard to find, there was only one bathroom inkluding shower for all rooms, very small kitchen and no WiFi. But if worked out well and it was a nice and clean place. Mathilda, from Sweden ~ 21st Sep 2009

I stayed first for 2 nights, but came back after my trip to lake Baikal. The host-people were really friendly, but they didn't live in the appartment, so we had the appartment for ourselves in the evenings. The hostel had a very social atmosphere, both times when I stayed there I met really talkative and nice backpackers. Leonid and his staff help with any question if they can. Highly recommend this hostel, it make me feel like i have reach home and get a great rest after long train journey.Somemore, the manager Leonid is really a Nice Russian guy, he is so friendly and helpful. The location were great, walking distance to train station and city area. Even they do not have internet access yet but Leonid promise to get this facilities soon coz internet access is important for backpacker to get more information. And remember to join the tour to Baikal lake no matter Chee Sum, from Malaysia ~ 3rd Apr 2009
