the best thing about miraflores house is the staff. francis (the owner) is amazing. he will give you the low down on the city and all of the touristy things to do as well as how to get there, how much a taxi should cost so you can bargain, and what areas of the city you should stay away from. the rest of the staff are very helpful and courteous. plenty of hot water as well and a nice little kitcheonette to store any groceries or do any cooking if desired. would def stay again.

Albergue Miraflores House is a lovely hostel. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the rooms and the common areas were clean, there was internet access, and the location in the Miraflores neighborhood was ideal. The best part of the experience, though, was Francis, the owner. He took time out of his morning to provide detailed information not found in guidebooks. He's also very responsive via e-mail, which is grand. And he's friendly and speaks English, which is wonderful for you slackers w

Great, helpful staff. There´s a kitchen to keep food cold and a fun common room with plenty of musical instruments. I would highly recommend it.

A great place to stay in Lima! I had a private room, but the hostel feels very secure and every one of the staff goes out of their way to help. The owner, Francis, is a wonderful man who takes each guest aside, gives them a map, and explains what to see and areas to avoid. When my luggage was lost, he even lent me two shirts! Also, the rooms have cable TV and DVD players, some nice common areas with free internet, and a good feel about them. While not right on Plaza Kennedy, there is a Chilis an
