Amirai is cute and pretty nice, and a short bus ride from downtown Milan. The woman who was there when I arrived was fantastic, and was very understanding of my unfortunate circumstances (no cash) upon arrival. She was also eager to help us with directions and finding an internet cafe. There are no lockers, and no locks on the rooms, but perhaps because it is so small it still felt very safe. Not a lot going on inside the hostel, but shouldn't you be going out in the city anyway?

VERY basic hostel, frequently lacking in toilet paper, but overall was sufficient for a decent night's sleep and a hot shower. A long way from the centre and therefore the action.

The guy at the front desk was EXTREMELY helpful. His English was impeccable, which certainly made things easier for us. The room was clean and secured. The breakfast was above average. I would recommend this hostel without any reservations.

The fact that the hostel will take you so long to find is indication that you should NOT stay here! Firstly we paid for an 8 bed room and was given a 10 bed, which made it very cramped with no room to move. It was a lottery every night as to whether you would get a bed or not and you was constantly been woken up during the night by the woman there who kept coming in and switching lights on to see if there were any free beds. The woman I think was the cleaner although all she did was spray the ho

The owner of the hostel is so sweet! She practically brings you breakfast in bed. It was a nice, clean hostel to stay at.

Our door didn't lock, which was unsettling. There was only one bathroom for the entire floor and the shower head was broken.

The lady & her son were very courteous. However, there was only one bathroom for everyone & it didn't really lock. The bathroom was gross & out of date. The location was hard to find at first, but close to the metro/bus station. The bedroom kinda smelled & it was really hot because our bunk didn't have a window.
