Only stayed there briefly, but while most things were good, the excessive charge for the sheets was somewhat offensive at 50 krone! Jessica, from Australia ~ 12th Jan 2012

I have to pay for sheets and I didn`t never rent their sheets. I didn`t use their sheets at all. But when I check out they said that I have to pay for sheets but they didn`t never give me sheets so I didn`t use it at all but still I have to pay for sheets. Niina, from Finland ~ 28th Dec 2011

Room had a mini-fridge and kitchenette with cooktops- a deposit's required to borrow kitchenware. No lockers in the room and a limited (read: not enough) number of paid ones in the luggage room. Great location and helpful staff, but no tours or events organised by the hostel. Room was spotless when I got back each evening. Wifi only works from the common area downstairs. Comfy beds, clean hostel and hot showers. Not exactly the spot you want if you're looking for bar crawls or walking tours. It can get quite loud in the dorms as the walls are quite thin and be sure to air out your room when you can or you'll get this weird odor. You have a kitchen to yourself, though, which is nice, but having to give a 100 NOK deposit every time you need to use the pots and pans is a bit of a hassle. I would still recommend it as it's fairly cheap for Oslo! Emma, from Canada ~ 29th Nov 2011

This is one of the best run, cleanest, and happiest hostels I've stayed at, and free wifi too. The rooms are very cheaply priced for Norway, bed linen cost 55nok, washing 60nok, and right next to a late night convenience store. No lockers for bags, but extremely secure rooms. Showers are brand new, feel great, rooms have fridge and cooking area, table and bunks. Bunks are very comfy, wooden based and not noisy when people move in their sleep. Common room for all guests is large, but with privat Gregory, from Australia ~ 6th Nov 2011
