The location is near the ocean, so it's a little bit away from the best of Miraflores, but is not that bad. Not easy to find from the taxi. The Staff is good. The Cleanliness was OK. Was very noise, people laughing loud and screaming the hole night, it was hard to sleep. The brakfast was good with scrambled eggs. I recommend this if you like or don't care about the noise. Nice hostel in a quiet location close to the ocean. Its not a party hostel but its a social hostel. The staff, Ubdias, Juan Pablo and Cesear are very friendly and helpful plus the cleaners keep the place clean and tidy. I would stay here again for sure. Stephen, from Australia ~ 12th Sep 2011

The staff were very nice and helpful, but there was mold in the shower, limited hot water, and the bedrooms were freezing (if you go here in the winter, you will definitely need to ask for extra blankets).It was very safe.Locks on the bedroom doors, a double-gated entrance that you had to buzz through to get in.They also had a public computer that everyone could use, which was nice. I loved my stay at Backpackers Family House in Lima. The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. It was easy to meet other people, and we had a great barbeque party the last day we stayed there. It was great fun, and the staff made drinks (pisco sour) for us.
