Very friendly and helpful staff. This hostel in Miraflores, an upscale area of Lima, which is stable, clean and safe to walk at night. Though a little off the way, it makes it quiet and peaceful, especially for sleeping at night. allan, from Canada ~ 11th Nov 2009

This is the best hostel I have ever been - friendly staff, considerate manager (hi Chris !!!), clean and neat rooms, and very nice and convenient location (one block to the beautiful ocean and five minutes to the town center). The TV room and the dinning place are big so that you can meet all kinds of interesting people. You will for sure have a good time here. This was a wonderful place to stay in Lima. It is just up from the ocean where you can walk along the cliffs over the ocean. The atmosphere is so friendly. The only think I marked average was security because the rooms don´t lock, but there are lockers in front of the reception desk. Everyone who came there was interested in getting to know each other and I couldn´t have asked for a better first experience in Lima. Jennifer, from Canada ~ 10th Oct 2009

my stay here was a great experience. i´m not the average student travelling through peru, but a thirty something and professor looking for a somewhat quiet but not too quiet scenario. also given that my spanish is still very rudimentary i found the hosts christian and pedro very helpful and willing to extend all the help they can in english without making me feel bad. delta airlines lost my baggage and pedro and christian were helpful in communicating with the airline agents as well to make sur darini, from USA ~ 8th Aug 2009

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! They gave me advice on things to do in Lima, booked taxis for me and overall made me feel very comfortable. I also recommend booking a taxi pick-up from the airport through this hostel - the taxi was waiting for me when i arrived and it is a much safer option. The hostel was very clean, showers were hot, and it was very quiet during the night. Location was a little bit of a walk from central Miraflores, but not really much of an issue. One of the absolute best hostels anywhere to be found. The staff is fantastic -- especially Pedro who cooked a great bbq and took us all out for drinks in honor of Peruvian independence day. I forgot to book an extra night and the hostel was full up, so Pedro gave me the couch and charged me half price. These guys are fair, honest, friendly, speak excellent English, and are full of information about Lima and all points beyond. I can't say enough positive things about this hostel.
