I was irritated to arrive at Posada de Colon because this website lists it as having security lockers in room, which it doesnt. In fact there arent any at all. I received a confirmation email in english from them, yet the staff hardly spoke english at all which was a little disconcerting. breakfast was bare bones (toast and jelly, no cereal even) and the computer area is closed off by 11pm. not a good place to go if looking for fun, but it was super clean and pretty comfortable Audrey, from USA ~ 5th Nov 2009

Although the hostel has all the facilities it describes, they are in the most basic form. Breakfast is only toast and juice. Staff are friendly. Not easy to meet other travelers here as there is no real area to gather and read, talk, socialise. Patricia, from Australia ~ 9th May 2009

At the beginning it was really hard to find the hostel because it is in the smallest street I have ever seen (even the Granadians didn't know about this street). But the location is good, you are in the center. There are a lot of bars and restaurants close to the hostel, you can walk to the cathedral and other sights and its very easy to find a bus to go to the alhambra. The staff is nice and helps you, but the check-in went on really slowly (but that's normal for Spain, isn't it?). I Ronja, from Germany ~ 2nd Feb 2009
