I had booked a reservation on line prior to arriving. Not only did they not have the room available that I had requested, they did not refund my deposit. So - for a overpacked not so clean dorm, I paid $32.50.When it should have been $20 and I had to find a new place to stay in LA. Not cool. Jana, from Canada ~ 10th Mar 2010

Amazing place, really can't fault them on anything. The free breakfast is a great start to the day. The hostel is located about ten minutes from the kodak/Chinese theatres etc and is walking distance from two metro (train) stations on the red line. There was this one guy on the Staff that was simply rude. I would ask him something about the city or anything and he would just look at me as if I was some kind of stupid and when it came to the time to check out the Hostel he almost expelled me. Everything else was great, just this guy (Allison I think was his name) that was extremely rude. If you are looking to party, this is probably your place. I wasn't looking to party, so it was kind of weird in that sense, but I still must aknowledge that the hotel was a lot of fun. Anything else was ok, didn't have problems of any kind at all! Patricio, from Argentina ~ 3rd Aug 2009
