staff are about as useful as tits on a bull. (extraordinarily useless). As for location. Everything in la is a million miles apart so it's not really close to anything in that respect.

This hostel is the reason you should not choose the cheapest one. There is a reason why it's so cheap.
I stayed there for 5 days and it was horrible. I had to change rooms 3 times because of BED BUGS. The first room was completly occupied and all who slept there was bitten. They are hard to see during the day, but at night they come! Its a horror movie come true! It took me 4 hours to wash all of my clothes.
Worst part is that they didnt do anything about it. They just sent us to another room

STAY AT THIS HOSTEL!! It is really awesome. They organise heaps of stuff, like tours, parties, free entry into clubs, free dinner, free drinks... the setup makes it really relaxed and easy to meet people. There's this courtyard that is perfect for hanging out and having a drink and a chat. I had the best time here and am going back again!

Fine place to stay, with lots of oppertuneties to hang out with other travellers and to go on planned tours. However the hostel door seemed to be open 24 hours, and sometimes strangers slept in our room...

STAFF. VERY UNFRIEDLY, THEY NEVER SMILE,SINCE LIKE EVERY IS A BED DAY FOR THEM. THE MANAGER IS VERY RUD.
The kitchen is very bed. They have stoves that don't work, a few burners that takes a whole day to boil water. The refrigerators are very nasty and don't work. Refrigerators and burners are plug to one outlet with an extension cord that makes a very dangerous place, and very easy to cut on fire. Someone needs to inform The Los Angeles fire Dept about this.

what sux about this place is that they are lazy, they never bothered to tell me of extra charges, and because i was the only person going to use the shuttle to the airport they lied to me and told me the shuttle was broken, when i saw it wasnt. how rude! plus it was smelly and hot and they played music really loud, bad music, like spanish pop, all the time, and the breakfast was just peanut butter.

It was amazing to witness the joy your staff provided to the guests. Although the breakfast was minimal, all other activities and areas of accomodations were excellent.

The staffs are nice, well except for one dude who tries to be a smart-ass. Whatever.. The room needs more ventilation. Other than that, great people and nice environment.

staff are rude as. only the guys who take you out are the thing that make this place! and the travellers! by the way when is it against the law to smoke out the front of a building. and im talking ciggarettes not pot! by the way why cant you use credit card to buy calling cards when you use credit to book your bed.( front of house told us they didnt take credit card) how stupid do you think we are

I really enjoyed staying here. The staff were very nice. The rooms were clean and the place itself is very well located. They always have something going on for the guests and discounts for doing touristy stuff. I really recommend it.
