I enjoyed my stay over New Years Eve.Even though the city didn't host a big bash, the Cambie listed other options.My room was surprisingly quiet!The kitchen sink was cluttered with dirty dishes but it's nice to have access to a kitchen anyway.I'd stay there again! Karla, from USA ~ 9th Jan 2012

The awesome bar downstairs is what sets this place apart, that and the breakfast is outstanding for it being a hostel.Everything else about it is pretty standard. Peter, from USA ~ 20th Aug 2011

It's a little run down....Bar is a bit of a dive, but the sheets seemed clean, and I didn't find anyhing about it intolerable. If you want a classy nights sleep, go to a hotel, and pay for one. A staff kick me out of the hostel at 2am when i just got there, no where to go, telling me that i can't check in before 2pm. i got so scared bc i was so new in the city. i don't know anybody. i asked him if i can stay in the common room but he told me there is nothing like that in this hostel, but that wasn't true. some things happend after that but in anyway i ended up staying up for 12 hours in a coffee shop. that wasn't very nice start of my vacation in Vancouver, and still have n JIHYUN, from South Korea ~ 17th Aug 2011
