This hostel is the best I have ever been to. It is cleaned everyday, there is a fully equiped kitchen where you can cook all your meals, free internet in the hall... And the location in the Old town is just perfect. I definitely recommend it to everybody visiting Stockholm! The only negative side of this hostel is that it is quite noisy. After 6 PM Nobody is in the reception so you\\\'ve to call a swedish number and afetr 10 minutes somebody reply..If you have a not swedish number can be reeally expensive! Good location, for the rest nothing special! Juhani Davide, from Italy ~ 9th Nov 2009

We arrived late in the evening. And we should call to administrator for door code. Many calls, nobody take a phone. We get nervous. Finally, they told us code and we get in the hostel. It was the worth part of our staying. Our room (#3. 4 bed private shared bathroom) was really small. All furniture in new and and clean. We rent sheets and towels, all was clean. Comfortable kitchen. The Castanea Hostel is without doubt the best hostel I have ever stayed in. It provided for everything that me and my friends required. The Castanea has excellent cleanliness well above what you\'d expect in a typical hostel. The location is fantastic right in the middle of old town and within walking distance of all major attractions.
