The hostel was very nice. It has a lot of school children on holidays. But it is very quiet at night. The dorms are quite small, but exquisitely clean. They should have somewhere for you to lock your stuff in your room. Breakfast was very good. Overall a very nice place, but not somewhere to stay if you really want to party it up. (I didn't so it suited me great!) ;-)

The only real complaint I have about this place is that the rooms were hot as hell all the time and you couldn't really open the windows to create a draft. Other than that, the staff was really nice, the room was clean and the food was... not great, but I lived in a dorm for three years, so it's nothing out of the ordinary.

I would definately recommend this hostel to other people who want to visit Strasburg. The room was very spacious, clean and tidy. There were some noise from other guests during the night as the room walls are quite thin, but this was my only criticism. I managed to store my luggqage in a locker whilst I spent the day in Strasbourg.

Ciarus, most importantly, is a really clean place. You do not want to worry about bed bugs and all, and I believe this hostel was good on that point.
Although the staff were somehow, sometimes a bit nonchalant, questions and requests can be answered easy enough.
Strasbourg is a really small city, so use the bike rental. Saves you time and energy, and you can discover the city with another eye.

I enjoyed our stay at the Ciarus in Strasbourg. Somehow on the internet it said 4 single beds. I was traveling with my husband and two adult sons. It did not mention that they were bunk beds. It was challenging for my husband to climb the ladder and if it had been me to climb to the top bunk, I would have chosen to sleep on the floor. This was my first experience in staying in a hostel. I would be willing to stay with you again.

This is my third time there. Very good location, nice staff, very clean, good continental breakfast, nice bikes for rent at 8€/day. I'll go back there again & again...
