I stayed here and at the Global over the road and honestly there is no comparison! The Clarence is like a home away from home and by far the best and friendliest Hostel in Toronto :)

Die Jugendherberge hat mir sehr gut gefallen, sehr nettes Team! Atmosphäre in der Jugenherberge war auch sehr gut. Ich werde immer dorthin zurückkehren!

The Clarence Castle is outstanding. No where have I ever stayed where the owner shakes your hand and introduces himself upon arrival and then proceeds to cheerfully help you with any concern that may arise, or simply just hang out in the common room chatting with customers. If it was an ebay auction, I would say "A++++ would deal with again".
