I had the best meal in the hostel. Grilled fish with lots of veg and poiled potatoes. Was dope. It is little noisy at night but located 3 mins away from the old town. Friendly staff

os quartos "privados" sao em um predio a parte, o que nao havia sido avisado. staff meio estranho... fora isso um hostelsinho com bastante estilo.

Really cool hostel with a great bar that serves cheap food and drinks. Close to train station and town (kinda in the middle). Doesn't do breakfast!

The location was great, but so would have been anywhere in this fairly small city. The room was OK, bunks, nothing special, some of the 'lockers' had no backs to them, but all in all a clean and comfortable stay. The staff members were superb, giving great advice about local happenings and directions. An easy walk from the train station, too. Definitely worth a visit.

Lots of character and a good location. Will be a great place once the renovations are finished as they are putting in new bathrooms, but I wouldn´t stay there till then as there was only two showers in the whole hostel in the meantime and it´s a bit grubby while they are renovating too
