Perfect location, calm but close to the centre. Not far away from the bus station. The rooms were clean and nice. Some of the beds were a bit uncomfortable, but everything else was fine. Linda, from Sweden ~ 23rd Jan 2012

Extremely good location. Close to both bus/train station and city centre. The rooms is quite clean but the toilet isn't. If it is fully booked, there would be 9 people using the toilet. You can here the toilet door opens and closes continously at night and in the morning. The floor gets really dirty and wet and the toilet paper is not enough. After all, it is recommanded. The staff here was fantastic, as they went out of there way to help me and my group of nine in Ljubljana. They were helpful in advising us with day-trip tips and bus schedules. All in all, the staff made our stay here fantastic. The location for this hostel is another of its nicer qualities. H2Ostel is easy to reach from the bus and train stations, and it is very close to the beautiful historic district. The only points with which I truly had difficulty were 1) the lack of soap in all of the Jordan, from USA ~ 4th Jun 2011

This hostel seems only to exist to separate you from 20 euro. While the beds are comfortable and the location fantastic, the staff is dismissive and uninterested (more preoccupied with hanging out with their friends), the bathrooms are filthy (standing water and, literally, mud on the floors), and there is space for little more than four or five people in the common area. Don't expect any entertainment or Ljubljana advice. A very get-in, get-out place, best perhaps as a last resort. Jeff, from USA ~ 21st Apr 2011

This hostel doesn't really look like the pictures.It looked like it had a lot of character and was decorated in a cool way - it wasn't.Its fine enough if you're just in Ljubljana for a few days, but don't spend more than a night or two here.Actually don't spend more than that in Ljubljana at all - it is a cute city, but not that much to do unless you take a lot of day trips to other places.
