bathroom should be cleaned periodically. Or at least a note should be left notifying everyone to clean off the bath after use.

Pros - Excellent breakfast, very clean and well run hostel. Bonus - excellent curry house called Ganesha around corner on Hubersstrasse
Cons - Our double room's wall was so thin we could hear everything the people next door did including snoring! May as well have been no wall! A bit obsessed with not allowing alchohol or smoking in the hostel. Absolutely hammered the point home with signage. Decor of double bedroom was like staying in a 5 year old's room. Showers hot but badly laid out so h

It was a very pleasant place. My first thoughts was that it was far away from the city, but as soon as I got to know the subway, it didn't take long to get to the city. I was really surprise about the breakfast, there was so much to choose. So it's a very good place.

nice. not very central. If one has but a few days to see Berlin, one had better picked something more central

I liked their open buffet breakfast. They provide free of charge luggage room service. Location is a little bit far away from the main train station, but no problem. Room rates were reasonable.

Very good standard and competitive prices. Railway station is very close so it takes only minutes to get to the city centre. Stuff is very kind and helpful.

Great price, nice facility, decent location = well worth it. HappyBed Hostel is located in a nice neighborhood. This hostel is HUGE! It is well run and not too far from the metro...the walk really isn't as bad a some people say. Breakfast was a typical breakfast BUT it was all you can eat.

Absolutely a great hostel! It's very clean, feels safe, very nice and helpful staff. The staff is also there in the reception 24h a day, which makes it feel more secure as well. The S- and U-bahn is about a 5 min walk away, and then it only takes 15 min into the center of Berlin. The area off Steglitz is very cozy and nice with a shopping center by the U-bahn, restaurants, food store and Irish pub right opposit the hostel. We felt secure there! It is everything you need to have for a good nights
