Generally a good place to stay due to it's great location. But be warned that in the summer months the rooms get unbearable hot as there are no fans or air con available. Thomas, from England ~ 12th Sep 2009

the rooms are so dirty. Terrible. When I tried to wash my face and turned the valve, many small dirt and worms came out of the drain. Bed sheets are cute and nice. In the kitchen, I smelled something. I wanted to cook every night, but I decided not to because of it. People are not so bad. But this hostel make my memories in LA worse. The beds are too closed and I felt very hot that night. Also, there was no soap, no towel in the restroom.Well,the staff are friendly and the place is very safe. jiankang, from China ~ 1st Aug 2009

Nothing fancy here but you can't get a better location. Just a few yards from the Kodak Theater and The Chinese Theater. Getting to the Hostel is very easy, multiple buses and the Red line train go there. Johnny, from USA ~ 5th Jul 2009

The bunk bed collapsed on my foot as soon as I arrived (the staff member said she would inform management, although nothing had been done by the time I left 24 hours later, and no apology was received), the place was incredibly dirty, dingy and grimey. If you are after a hostel smack bang in the middle of Hollywood then this one is a great pick. Dorms and bathrooms were relatively clean though everytime I went to my room the door was wide open, so anyone could have taken my bags. Breakfast was non-existant, but overall not a bad place to stay for a few nights. Kristy, from Australia ~ 3rd Feb 2009
